Happy Thursday! Almost the weekend! I want to share with you a card inspired by the stamp set To A Wild Rose which coordinates with the Wild Rose Dies. This set is retiring – so if you love it, get is soon!
The card base is Mossy Meadow Cardstock (measurement: 4 1/4″ X 11″). Then fold in half at 5 1/2″ with your Bone Folder for a nice, crisp edge. The second layer also uses Mossy Meadow Cardstock (measurement: 4″ X 5 1/2″). This piece of Mossy Meadow is die cut using the largest piece of the Ornate Layers dies and the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine. The third layer uses Basic White Cardstock (measurement: 3 1/8″ X 5″) and the die that nestles inside the first die that was cut out. Stamp your sentiment with Mossy Meadow…this “Happy Birthday” is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. Sponge the sides sporadically with Highland Heather using the sponge daubers around the edge. Center and adhere the three pieces together.
The flower and leaf are from the To A Wild Rose stamp set. Stamp the first layer of the flower with Highland Heather and the outline with Gorgeous Grape. Stamp the first layer and the outline of the leaves in Mossy Meadow. Then cut out both the leaves and the flower with the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine. Attach the flower with large Stampin’ Dimensionals. Attach only the tips of leaves with small Stampin’ Dimensionals.
And….it’s time to add blinge! ….. the two jewels are Elegant Faceted Jewels (pg. 157) and are self-adhesive. Hope you enjoy! If you have any questions about how to make this card, please feel free to email me – I’d love to help you with your creative journey! 🙂

25 years ago, I decided to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (because my “Mum” and I wanted the Stampin’ Up! discount), and it was one of my best decisions ever!!! I have been happily stamping, scrapbooking and paper crafting since that time. I feel very blessed to have “fallen into” an organization that has given so much in terms of wonderful friendships, financial compensation, and an opportunity for both artistic expression and relaxation.
