Happy Friday! I hope that you have plans for a wonderful weekend. Below is a lovely card created with the Butterfly Brilliance bundle. Please note that there are two variations featured: one card is monochromatic while the other is colored. Enjoy!
The base is created with Basic White Cardstock (measurement: 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″). Use the bone folder fold in half at 4 1/4″ to give a nice, crisp crease. Use Basic White Cardstock for the second layer (meaurement: 4″ X 5 1/4″).
Stamp “Hugs Prayers Love” from the Positive Thoughts stamp set (page 76) with Basic Gray ink, then emboss using the Brick and Mortor Embossing Folder and the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine.
The third layer is also Basic White Cardstock and uses the rectangular stitched framelits – use 2 of the sizes to die cut the rectangular frame. The 1″ x 3″ die is nestled within the 1 3/8″ x 3 3/8″ die, then cut out using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine. Please ensure that you have equal spacing on all four sides. It may be helpful to adhere dies with low tack tape prior to running through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. Cut a larger “frame piece” in Smokey Slate the same way using the outer die that measures 3 1/2″ X 4 7/8″.
Stamp the butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance bundle in Smokey Slate and raise with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Raise the wings slightly upward.
You can either choose to make a Monochromatic card or you can color in the wings. In my sample above, the wings are colored with the light and dark Stampin’ Blends.
The sentiment “With Deepest Sympathy” is stamped using the Peaceful Moments set and is stamped using Basic Gray. The butterfly is from the Butterfly Brialliance set and stamped with Smokey Slate and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Hope you enjoy!
