Happy Wednesday! Below is another Easter Card that I think it so elegant and yet so simple. I love the Arrange A Wreath set …… it’s just so versatile!
The base of this card is Gorgeous Grape (measurement: 5 1/2″ X 8 1/2″) scored and folded in half with the bone folder.
The Basic White Layer (measurement: 5 1/4″ X 4″) is first stamped with the Happy Easter from Arrange A Wreath in Gorgeous Grape. It is helpful to use a Stamparatus to line it up and stamp it perfectly! Then the Basic White Cardstock is dry embossed using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder with the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. I love the Tasteful Textile Embossing folder – it just adds a subtle but elegant touch to everything!
Using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss’, cut the leaves from Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive Cardstock. Cut the flowers from Melon Mambo. Make the cross with a sliver of gold foil sheets (a leftover scrap!) that are 1/8″ wide; the vertical piece is 1 inch and the horizontal piece is 5/8″. Color the eggs with Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Pool Party, and Blushing Bride. Then, cut out the eggs with the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine.
Finally, put all the pieces together! The multipurpose liquid glue was used to adhere the card front to the base of the card, the green wreaths, the cross, the flowers, and the eggs. The rhinestone basic jewels are adhesive backed and enhance the flowers. If you have any questions about how to make this card, please feel free to email me – I’d love to help you with your creative journey! 🙂

25 years ago, I decided to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (because my “Mum” and I wanted the Stampin’ Up! discount), and it was one of my best decisions ever!!! I have been happily stamping, scrapbooking and paper crafting since that time. I feel very blessed to have “fallen into” an organization that has given so much in terms of wonderful friendships, financial compensation, and an opportunity for both artistic expression and relaxation.
