Hello, Hello, Hello! Happy Weekend! I hope that you have some wonderful plans! We are having lovely, sunny weather! After I spend some quality “me time” Stamping, I’m hoping to have the opportunity to go skiing and am just keeping my fingers crossed that nothing gets broken! I also wanted to take this opportunity to share this card with you….. Blackberry Bliss is one of my favorite colors and I think it works out so well with the Art Gallery Bundle.
Getting Started:
The base of this card is Blackberry Bliss (measurement: 11″ x 5 1/2″), then folded in half and creased with the bone folder. The next layer is Basic White Cardstock (measurement: 4″ X 51/4″) and embossed using the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.
How to make the Art Gallery flower:
To make the flower, first stamp Blackberry Bliss (the darker color), then stamp Razzleberry (the lighter color) over top. When I stamped the Rich Razzleberry, I stamped it off on a piece of scrap paper first, resulting in a lighter color.
How to use the Gold Special Effect:
The gold that highlights the flower was done as follows: Squeeze a small amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on a scrap of paper. Using a straight pin, transfer tiny amounts of glue to strategic spots on the flower. (I was only wanting a few hints of gold to show). Press gold leafing into the glue and let dry, 1-2 minutes. Brush of the residue…. A small stipple brush works well. Adhere the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Completing your Art Gallery Bundle card….
The leaf was stamped in Mossy Meadow, die cut, then glued to the card front. “Happy Birthday” as stamped in Blackberry Bliss (Measurement: 3/8″ X 2″). The Fine Art 3/8″ ribbon is cut to 2 1/2″ long. Both the ribbon and the “Happy Birthday” are adhered with Tear and Tape. Finally, the gold glitter enamel dots are provide a subtle accent to complete this card. (Alternatively, you could use the elegant faceted gems that I am giving away for FREE this month with a $50 Order if you wish :). I hope that you’ve enjoyed this card made with the Art Gallery Bundle. If you have any questions about how to make this card, please feel free to email me – I’d love to help you with your creative journey! 🙂

25 years ago, I decided to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (because my “Mum” and I wanted the Stampin’ Up! discount), and it was one of my best decisions ever!!! I have been happily stamping, scrapbooking and paper crafting since that time. I feel very blessed to have “fallen into” an organization that has given so much in terms of wonderful friendships, financial compensation, and an opportunity for both artistic expression and relaxation.
